Ready for Spring

Well it is beautiful here this week in Colorado! It has been in the 60's almost everyday, although March is the month we get the most snow. I am so excited for spring!! To see the snow melt, the rivers get higher, the flowers bloom and the little bunnies running around my neighborhood. It's gonna be great!

Like Father, Like Daughter.

Do you think they look alike?      It's Keelie and Danny....

My little Sister

Here's a funny one I just came upon. Heidi is below me, and she is pissed. I am on the left. (lookin' hot!)

O, the Girls...

I came into the office and the girls were taking a ton of pictures on I Photo, so here are their latest creations....

Annie and Fred

Here is a picture of Annie, Fred, and Ricky....
A little update on the Family.
Dad, is still working at Furniture Row, he is a buyer.  He has been there since I was in 5th grade. Now that is loyalty! He enjoys running the clock at Ricky's hockey games.  He is still a sports fanatic and watches any game he can!
Mom, is working for Ingrid, aka ME!  Can you believe it?  She does a great job, and I couldn't do it without her.  The work is hard, but she does it.  She is surrounded by a bunch of kids at work, so they all call her Mommie.  She also doubles as my personal assistant.  Anything I can't do, I know Mom will get done.  There are a bunch of Police Officers that come into the Cafe, and they call her Mommie Ferrari, maybe they pulled her over for speeding??? She better slow down!

The Girls...

Here are some pictures of the girls...  The girl in dark blue, is the neighbor at Granny Annies house, Chelsea.  All the girls have been friends since they were babies, so this is the crew that runs together.  Riley, Heidi's daughter, has darker hair, and the toe head, is Kellie, Danny's daughter.  They are all so funny!  Riley is 5 (almost) and Keelie 3.  They are very different.  Keelie is perfectly content playing by herself. Riley, who thinks that she is the next Hannah Montana, wants all the attention, all the time.
Keelie is a comedian.  She makes us laugh so hard, and we are not sure where she gets her dry sense of humor!?  The other day she got a new Barbie from the store.  Tragically the Barbie was in an accident and the legs came off.  She asked me to fix the Barbies legs, but I could not get the things back on.  Heidi gave it a good try as well, but we could not get the legs back in her body. Keelie grabbed the Barbies torso and legs, and looked at her new Barbie, and exclaimed to it, "Well Barbie, I guess there is NO getting married for you!" She also says things in conversation to her plastic horses like, "Listen Horse, I'm not gonna lie to you....but....." Her play world seems like a very interesting place to be.
Riley had a show at the Super Bowl Party that we all had to attend.  It was up in her parents bedroom and the king size bed was her stage.  She had a good size audicence at about 25, this was the half time show....It was called the Gun Show, but she performed a wide varitey of songs, like Kelly Clarkson and Hannah Montana. (I heard it was much better than Tom Petty.) She also told some jokes, such as "What's invisable and smells like carrots?"  Give up?? "A bunnies fart!"  She gave out some roses to about 5 girls in the crowd.  We all thought the roses were for us, but we were informed at the end of the performance that we were supposed to throw them at her at her final bow.  Whoopsie.  The girls love their aunt, (thats me,) who they call Sissy, becasue that is what Ricky has called me since he was a youngin.  I have the best job, to spoil them, get them all crazy, and send them back to their parents!  That's what Aunts are for!

The First Blog

Well, I have  recently found people a la Face Book who had no idea what was going on in the world of the Schneider family and extended family, so I have decided to create a place where people can go to see what exactly is going on.....
Today I will start with Ricky.
Ricky is a teenager, 13, plays hockey, and is going into high school next year.  This makes me, (Ingrid) feel REALLY old!  (But, one of the neighbor boys today asked me if I was still in college today, that was quite refreshing... )
Here are the latest pictures of Ricky, doing his thing in front of the computer.  It is a place where he spends a lot of time, doing homework, listening to music, or playing.  He is playing the bass guitar and is pretty good.  His first band broke up, but he just told us that there is a new band, and they had practice last weekend.  This weekend he is in Cali for a hockey tournament.  The kid is blessed.
